The morning of September 11, 2001, Allison Silver Adams went out for a jog in her neighborhood. She lived in New York City, one block south of World Trade Two. She and her husband had just returned home the night before from vacation and the 11th was their first day back. Within minutes of Allison returning from her run, the first plane hit the World Trade Center.
Allison had no idea what September 11th had in store for her as she left her home. She couldn’t have known she would never live there again, or know the things she would see and experience in the next 48 hours. But she survived, and this is her story.
